Oh, yeah, were dropping again, more or less like I figured we would, but we'll be going back up again within the next two to 10 days. Looks like they're moving it up so that it's up by about a dime each time or so, then letting it drop a bit and bump it up more instead of more of it at once. It's less of a shock to people that way. It'll be up another eight to 25 cents a gallon at a minimum when they do it.

The “good old days” were not that great. The tiny quarters unit on Ship Shole 182 had up to 14 of us living there. There was not enough seating in the galley for all of at one time. The galley was also the only place to watch what little tv you could get. The room that I slept in had six others and was so small that we could not all be out of bed at the same time. It was ok during the mild weather but when storms and cold weather came you felt like you were in a small box. I transferred to a shore base at Freeport Texas where there was much better living conditions.

Thanks, golf. (Sorry I'm so late responding)

A BIG CONGRATS on reaching that 1M mark and your first new red car! Really awesome! Others ahead of you have retired, so there is lots of room at the 2M milestone! Can you believe that GBs are still active going on 13 years and heading for the 5M milestone, but most GBs retire before they get to 4M! Keep going, don't stop now, like so many that retired once they reached their first red car! Keep leading the way for others to follow in GasBuddyland! Thanks buddy for your dedication for 8+ years! Have a nice week! Ron

I saw your post on Maine, and it made me "homesick"! I'm an adopted Texan, 30 years in Lubbock, and used to travel to Amarillo. Beautiful town!!
