In my opinion, E-10 is a good thing, however, I wish that it was derived from cellulose rather than from corn. At that level, ethanol reduces the production of poisonous carbon monoxide,CO, by all internal combustion engines. In Arizona, we require that all gasoline contain additives that add oxygen during the winter months. We have temperature inversions that trap the CO at ground level, not healthy. We used to use either 5% MTBE or 10% ethanol, but MTBE is poisonous and is a terrible water contaminant if spilled, we quit using that. Greater amounts of ethanol are not of any great health benefit and are not economically justifiable. Also many fuel systems and engines are damaged by E-15 and only Flex-fuel vehicles can use E-85. I don't believe in wasting food or feed to make anything over E-10. Warren :D)
